The National Wax Museum Plus is more a walk through Irish History and Entertainment then a grandious wax museum, playing host to a collection of some of the most wonderful and whacky wax works you will ever find under one roof. Come be mystified, amazed, bewildered and amused, while marvelling at all the amazing models we have on display here at the museum. We will also educate you in Irish History, Mythology & Literature, and introduce you to some of the countries greatest entertainers and sports stars. You can also fly through a medieval castle or experience a Dino excursion gone wrong in our brand new VR area. So come get lost in our time warp zone or mirror maze, and go home with a great wax hand souvenir or a nice treat from our gift store.

The Science and Discovery Zone of the attraction pays homage to the dedicated Irish Inventors, engineers and scientists. Many of whom you may or may not have heard of.

Great Irish Writers
The Great Irish Writers Room is a salute to the literary legacy of our nation’s greatest writers. They are forever immortalised in wax and ready to greet you at the entrance of the museum.
Kid’s World
This Children’s fantasy world is really focused entirely on kids imagination and their innate curiosity, with plenty of colour, cartoon wax figures and pillars painted like cake & sweets. Children really will feel like they’ve walked into a dream world. This element to the attraction promises to be the highlight of any fun filled family day out!
Wax Hands
Wax Hands is a fun attraction at the National Wax Museum Plus. Located in the gift shop , Wax Hands give visitors a chance to have a copy of their own hand molded in Wax to take home & keep.
Time Vaults
The Time vaults of Irish History offers the visitor the opportunity to explore the various stages of Irish history through a wonderful experience of sight and sound.
Chambers of Horror
No wax museum would be complete without its very own Chambers of Horror. Located in the basement of the museum, visitors can bravely enter at their own risk and experience the weird and wonderful world of horror
Feel your heart pounding and your hands sweating as you come face to face with the infamous Buffalo Bill, Hannibal Lector or Dracula but who knows, anything can happen in the Chambers of Horror. Will you make it out alive or flee running and screaming?
