Departing early morning, your first stop with Gray Line Ireland is Belfast City, a city that is rich in heritage, which offers a host of vibrant cultural and artistic experiences for you to enjoy.

DUNLUCE CASTLE

Next stop on this tour is Dunluce Castle, first built on the dramatic coastal cliffs of north County Antrim by the MacQuillan family around 1500. It was then seized by the ambitious MacDonnell clan in the 1550’s, who set about stamping their mark on the castle under the leadership of the famous warrior chieftain Sorely Boy MacDonnell during an era of violence, intrigue and rebellion. For the Games of Thrones fans, it is also the House of Grey joy!

 

GIANT’S CAUSEWAY

Finally, you will visit the Giants Causeway, which of course is one of the highlights of this trip. The Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage site consists of a series of over 40,000 hexagonal shaped rocks that looks like a grand set of stairs leading into the sea. This formation has been astounding generations.
